Why Bee Honey

Similar to tea, the second component of this novel product, natural bee honey,
has long been associated with health benefits in traditional forms of medicine. Currently, modern day studies have indicated that natural bee honey carries out anti oxidative, anti- inflammatory, antiproliferative actions (largely due to its polyphenolic content), and also possesses anti- microbial properties1. According to the indigenous medical tradition of Sri Lanka, it can also act as an agent that increases the bioavailability of certain chemical substances.
It is said to be able to deliver certain molecules across the stomach lining into the circulatory system (and thus the immune system). There are numerous case studies in our indigenous medical history of medicines being effectively delivered to bodily systems using natural honey as a medium. We turned to bridging the gap between modern and ancient medical practices, and with a novel patent-pending process that combines the honey with the green tea extract, IMENHA was born
